Lessons
Lessons are tailored to individual interests and goals. Students are encouraged to participate in recitals, festivals and Conservatory Canada exams. Beginners start with 30-minute weekly lessons. Fees are paid monthly during the school year. Lessons run from mid-September to mid-June with recitals in winter and spring.
Studio Policies
Cancellations:
In order to hold a lesson time open for a student, weekly attendance is needed except in the case of illness, emergency, or advance notice. Last-minute cancellations for other reasons may be counted as a regular lesson. A month’s notice to discontinue lessons would also be appreciated to allow me to maintain a full schedule.
Fees:
Fees may be paid by cash or e-transfer by the first of the month.
Practice:
Practice five days a week is encouraged in order to make progress. Please feel free to contact me with any questions throughout the year. I am happy to arrange a time to have a conversation outside of teaching hours, as lessons are booked back-to-back.
Lessons start and end on time. Parents are encouraged to attend and quietly observe some lessons to better assist children with practice.
